Nathalie obtained research master’s degrees in social sciences at Tilburg University and Humboldt-University in Berlin.

Her PhD project is part of the research consortium GUTS which aims to understand how young people grow up in an increasingly complex society. More specifically, Nathalie will use quantitative methods to study socio-economic disparities in self-regulation and their implications for social inequalities in educational achievement. As a master's student, she worked on social inequalities in study abroad mobility, which has been published recently in Sociology of Education. Her main research interests are educational outcomes, social reproduction, and social inequalities.
